GFC (Growth Factor Concentrate) is an advanced treatment prepared from a small sample of your own blood. It works in a similar way to PRP, but the platelets are activated during preparation and the growth factors are released and concentrated, leaving a purer, cell-free solution. GFC is most often used for thinning hair and can also help refresh the skin. Every treatment begins with a consultation.

Symptoms & Diagnosis
Hair thinning can be caused by genetics, hormones, stress, illness or nutrient deficiencies. During your consultation, your practitioner will examine your scalp or skin, ask about your medical history and discuss your goals. A blood test may be suggested to rule out underlying causes before deciding whether GFC is the right treatment for you and how many sessions you may need.
- Thinning hair on the crown
- Receding hairline
- Increased hair shedding
- Widening parting
- Dull or tired-looking skin
Before You Make an Appointment
Unless your doctor advises otherwise, avoid alcohol, aspirin and anti-inflammatory painkillers for a few days before treatment. Drink plenty of water and eat a light meal beforehand. Wash your hair on the day of treatment, and let us know if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have a blood disorder.
