Mole reduction is a safe and effective way to remove moles that are unwanted for cosmetic reasons or that cause discomfort by catching on clothing or jewellery. At BeWellToday, every mole is examined before treatment to make sure it is suitable for removal. Symptoms & Diagnosis

Before mole reduction, your practitioner will examine the mole and ask about any changes in its size, shape or colour. Moles that show warning signs are not removed for cosmetic reasons and will be referred for specialist assessment. Your practitioner will explain the most suitable removal method, what to expect afterwards and any risk of scarring.

Before You Make an Appointment

Avoid sun exposure and tanning on the area for at least two weeks before treatment. Let us know if you take blood thinners, have a bleeding disorder or tend to form keloid scars. Plan to keep the area clean and dry for a few days afterwards, following your aftercare advice.
